Am I a freshman, transfer or graduate international student?

You are . . .

. . . an Incoming Freshman if you are an international student who has:

• completed a secondary program comparable to a U.S. high school graduation with a minimum 2.5 GPA

• demonstrated an English proficiency(TOEFL=79, IELTS=6.5, or Duolingo=100)

• have a minimum SAT score of 500 (ACT score of 18) inEvidence Based Reading and Writing or SAT score of 510 (ACT of 19) in math

• have an SAT composite of 1060 (ACT score of 21)

• have acompleted(signed and dated by both applicant and financial sponsor)and Understanding (also signed by student) and sponsor's bank statement.

• A valid passport is required for I-20 completion.

. . . a Transfer Student if you are an international student who has:

• completed an associate degree or a minimum of 18 credit hours and 2.5 GPA from an accredited school(if college or university work from a Non-US institution, a "course by course" evaluation will be needed)

• completed a college-level math courseequivalent to “college Algebra” or higher math in the US institutions

• demonstrated English proficiency(TOEFL=79, IELTS=6.5, or Duolingo=100)orfrom a TOEFL exempt country

• A valid passport is required for I-20 completion.

All students are encouraged to apply for admission even if they do not meet the above criteria. Such applications will be reviewed on an individual basis and evaluated to determine the likelihood of success at Ƶ.

…aUndergraduate Freshman if you are an international student who has graduated from a secondary program but have not pursued a baccalaureate degree

…a Undergraduate Transfer if you are an international student who has attended an accredited university program and has college level credits to transfer

…a Graduate Student if you are an international student who has earned a baccalaureate degree.
